Taking pictures is one of those things that truly never gets old, for anyone, especially these days. It used to be a laborious and expensive hobby but these days one can fire off a thousand pictures a day with their phone and never think twice about the actual process, and they’ll do it again tomorrow and love it just as much. 

Taking pictures for me has never been just a hobby or a job but invariably a perpetual novelty. The ability to stop time in a single frame and know that it will never fade, as memories inevitably do, is one of those things in life that I never get used to. And every time I look at a camera screen or piece of negative and see that split second in time frozen still, I realize all over again how fantastic this novelty is.
